Thank You Zuckerberg for $70,000 Profit Trading

Dear Traders,

Mark Zuckerberg is probably the villain of social media moguls in the world. He’s someone who would sell our data to anyone willing to buy it, even our mothers. He’s not exactly popular, especially after the Cambridge Analytica scandal and many others. It’s tough to find fans of Zuckerberg these days. He clashed with his co-founders and the Winklevoss brothers, who originally had the idea for Facebook but couldn’t bring it to life.

But, personally, I really admire him. Zuckerberg is one of my favorite entrepreneurs. I look up to him a lot and aspire to be like him. Everyone knows his story and how he started Facebook, but there was one post he made back in 2013 that really impacted me. I was still a young confused recent PhD looking for a better life. Not happy with a corporate life, and I wanted more from life.

That post came straight from Zuckerberg’s heart and resonated with me. It encouraged me to chase my dream of becoming an entrepreneur, rather than staying an employee in a miserable corporation that I hated and not enjoying my life. It inspired me to become the person I am today and was the catalyst for starting Bear Bull Traders and my other businesses.

His message was a beacon of hope, saying “yes, you can do it.” It was the perfect response to the dilemmas faced by aspiring entrepreneurs, fueling my ambition and shaping me into who I am today.

Let’s revisit his post. In 2014, on the 10-year anniversary of Facebook, he shared:

“Today is Facebook’s 10th anniversary.

It’s been an amazing journey so far, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it. It’s rare to be able to touch so many people’s lives, and I try to remind myself to make the most of every day and have the biggest impact I can.

People often ask if I always knew that Facebook would become what it is today. No way.

I remember getting pizza with my friends one night in college shortly after opening Facebook. I told them I was excited to help connect our school community, but one day someone needed to connect the whole world.

I always thought this was important — giving people the power to share and stay connected, empowering people to build their own communities themselves.

When I reflect on the last 10 years, one question I ask myself is: why were we the ones to build this? We were just students. We had way fewer resources than big companies. If they had focused on this problem, they could have done it.

The only answer I can think of is: we just cared more.

While some doubted that connecting the world was actually important, we were building. While others doubted that this would be sustainable, you were forming lasting connections.

We just cared more about connecting the world than anyone else. And we still do today.

It’s been amazing to see how all of you have used our tools to build a real community. You’ve shared the happy moments and the painful ones. You’ve started new families, and kept spread out families connected. You’ve created new services and built small businesses. You’ve helped each other in so many ways.

I’m so grateful to be able to help build these tools for you. I feel a deep responsibility to make the most of my time here and serve you the best I can.

Thank you for letting me be a part of this journey.”

He indeed built something amazing, and like him or not, his social media is now an integral part of our lives. He is the perfect example of someone who built an empire out of his passion and is still at the helm after 21 years. He’s my role model. I admire people who forge their path driven by passion, not seeking validation from others. They focus on their creation and persistently work on it.

Zuckerberg has faced his share of challenges for himself. He fiercely battled with his co-founders to regain control of his company. It was not easy for him for sure to see META prices plummeting by over 70% in 2022, but he didn’t throw in the towel. He continues to play a pivotal role in shaping our future and civilization.

Today, his net worth has increased by 21%, and he’s started paying dividends to investors for the first time. META’s stock is soaring, reaching all-time highs of around $486 per share. Mark Zuckerberg stands to receive a $700 million payout a year from Meta’s first-ever dividend. Already the world’s fifth-richest person, it’ll be a sweet boost to the $27.1 million in total comp he took home in 2022. And that’s not counting today’s rally.

Today was an extraordinary day in trading, as I managed to earn a whopping $70,000 profit from trading META. I owe a huge thank you to Mark Zuckerberg. He’s genuinely one of my role models, even though he does not know it!
