Important Webinar: Plan Your Trading Properly
I have an important announcement to share with you today, as well as some news, so please forgive me for this longer than usual email.
Firstly, I would like to invite you all to our Success Webinar this week, featuring our very own Peter:
From the Beginning: Setting Up a Training Plan
Wednesday, July 8, 8pm ET
Webinar Room (lifetime members only)
In this webinar, Peter will review a recommended training plan for your first few years of trading. The plan is structured to allow you to successfully build your skills in order that you can become consistently profitable. Peter is someone who I have always looked up to. He retired from consulting management and as a partner at KPMG, leaving perhaps a 7-figure career to pursue day trading full time. He was one of the first members of the then Vancouver Traders. To this day, Peter’s willingness to help others inspires me. After his young sister committed suicide at the age of 20, Peter devoted his time to volunteering on the boards of several non-profit organizations focused on mental health and suicide prevention causes. This alone very clearly demonstrates what a generous person Peter is.
I can honestly say that whenever I talk to Peter, I learn something new. He is also always the first person to message me when I sleep in and don’t wake up on time for trading in the chatroom! Occasionally, usually around 3am, I will have a nightmare about Peter. It’s true! Even in my sleep, he tells me, “Andrew, wake up, you need to trade, be responsible, the community wants you!” And when that happens, I wake up, sweating, look at the clock, see I have a little more time to sleep, and then perhaps have the pleasure of experiencing the same nightmare again. “Andrew, wake up …”
Speaking of missing trading, I do apologize for not showing up for a few of our mornings. I am traveling through the Canadian Rockies right now, one of the most fascinating mountain ranges in the world. As most of you know, I have journeyed around the world in the last few years, and I can say that compared to the “big” names such as the Andes (South America), the Alps (Europe), or the Himalayas (Asia), the Canadian Rockies are extremely underrated and considerably less explored by adventurers. Everywhere you look, you see pure natural beauty, from the spectacular icecap peaks of these mountains, to mind-blowing scenic roads traversing through wonders of nature, to turquoise and emerald green alpine lakes and rivers. I have known many people who have come here for a visit and then never left. You can (literally) spend a lifetime exploring the Rockies and never weary of them. The Canadian Rockies will truly leave you feeling humble and insignificant. If you have not been here yet yourself, you must, you really must, put a trip to the Canadian Rockies on your bucket list.
Lastly, I am sharing with you a few pictures from our BBT Banff meetup, as well as shots of me on the summit of Mount Athabasca (the snowy one) and Castle Mountain’s Eisenhower Tower (with t-shirt).
See you in chat!
To your success,
Andrew
