For almost as long as Brian can remember, he has been interested in stocks and the market. When he was a preteen, he would watch his father pour over the stock listings in the newspaper and occasionally hear him on the phone with his broker, placing orders to buy and sell shares. One day, Brian asked his father if he could buy some stock and his father said, “Sure.” Brian opened an account and bought 1 (one), yes, 1 share of “The Bell Telephone Company of Canada”. He still has that 1 share today and it has multiplied into a couple of dozen shares through splits and a dividend reinvestment program. That was the starting point for his stock ownership/trading career. Ever since, Brian has been interested in stocks and the stock market and has traded throughout most of his adult life, managing his own investment portfolio. Brian has 2 degrees, including an MBA, and he also took the Canadian Securities Course.

The advent of the Internet and online trading changed the financial industry dramatically. While holding down a regular 9-to-5 corporate job, Brian tried his hand at day trading during the dotcom era. He made a lot of money and then lost a lot of money. It was a humbling lesson but he learned much and thankfully did not suffer the fate of many who lost more than they started with.

Brian retired from the corporate world in 2014 after over 30 years of service. Andrew and he had met and worked together for a number of years in another field. Today, they continue to work together doing what they both enjoy: trading and helping others achieve their goals.

Thor came to Bear Bull Traders following a career in the IT field. As a server administrator, he had worked for an options trading platform, and that is where he initially cut his teeth on the market and became fascinated with the execution side of trading.

After working for over a decade in the IT field, his daughter, Allie, was diagnosed with nonverbal autism. That moment changed his family and shifted considerably their life’s priorities. Thor, his wife, Janelle, their son, and their daughter decided to relocate across Florida so Allie could attend a private school that was very well suited for her needs. Thor also made the decision to leave the demanding IT field in order to be able to focus more on his family. During this relocation, Thor came across Andrew’s book. After reading it cover to cover, Thor knew he wanted to become a trader. He has been studying hard to be a consistently profitable trader and help his trading community whenever possible. Thor is now a full-time trader and moderator at BBT.

As a family man, Thor’s favorite thing to do is hitting the beach with his wife and kids, and living each day with them to the fullest.

Carlos is a full-time day trader and moderator with Bear Bull Traders. He joined Bear Bull Traders as a student in mid-2017, after coming across and reading Andrew’s book, How to Day Trade for a Living. Carlos completed the training courses and after 7 months in the simulator started trading live in January 2018.

Before day trading, Carlos spent 12 years in logistics and customer operations management for a home appliance company. After the company made the decision to relocate to another state, Carlos took this as an opportunity to embrace his passion and become involved in the world of day trading on a full-time basis.

Carlos enjoys outdoor activities like cycling and snowboarding, and he has recently begun to explore mountain hiking!

Peter has over 25 years of experience as a global business management and IT executive. Throughout his professional career, he traded stocks as both a swing and day trader. Peter now trades full time with Bear Bull Traders and is a moderator in the live chatroom. He joined Bear Bull Traders in early 2017 after reading Andrew’s first book and finding that it directly resonated with his own trading style.

Outside of trading, Peter is very active with mental health causes and is on the board of several local and national charities. For fun, he loves single track mountain biking, adventure races, auto racing and international travel. He has been blissfully married for 26 years and is proud to boast 3 grown children.

After nearly 2 decades as a national TV sales executive with the “Big Four” networks, Norm decided to go in a new direction. An interest in the financial markets since his youth (he bought his first stock at the age of 6), which later turned into a successful hobby of day and swing trading, led Norm to become a full-time equities trader in 2018. He soon realized though that to be a consistently profitable full-time trader required training and experience that he did not yet have. Inspired by reading Andrew’s book for the first time in the fall of 2016, he joined Bear Bull Traders soon after his career change. His experience in this process and desire to help new traders develop their own success prompted him to become a part of the Bear Bull Traders team.

Norm loves sharing life with his supportive wife and vivacious young son. He has been involved with various charities and organizations including the American Red Cross, Alzheimer’s and breast cancer research foundations, several animal rescues, and working with the homeless. In his spare time, Norm enjoys playing golf, traveling, motorcycle racing, competitive skydiving, shooting sports, and Texas Longhorns Football.

After moving to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to earn his PhD in chemical engineering, Andrew (Amin) spent several years working in various research scientist positions in the cleantech industry. After being let go from one particular position, he decided to focus his energy on the financial industry and trading markets. With drive and determination, Andrew started studying the stock market. Everyone, including himself, was doubtful. How can someone sitting at home, in front of their computer, beat Wall Street at its own game? Andrew persevered though. He did not listen to his own fears and the doubts of others.

In 2015, he published his first book, How to Day Trade for a Living, a simple, concise and practical guide to day trading, written for everyone, regardless of their financial market knowledge. Later, in 2016, he started the Bear Bull Traders community (formerly known as Vancouver-Traders), as a forum for serious traders to share their knowledge and expertise with other traders around the world.

Andrew is in a lifelong affair with Nature! Whenever he is not trading or in front of his computer, he is in the outdoors, either hiking, trekking, skiing, or high altitude climbing. Ask him about breathing at 20,000 feet!

After being a full-time stay at home mom to 3 since 2008, Tiffany picked up Andrew’s book, How to Day Trade for a Living, in 2017, and after reading it sensed she was ready for a career as a trader. She knew nothing about the markets before delving into the newly found opportunity. She became a member of Bear Bull Traders immediately. After 6 months of simulator, attending all of the BBT classes, watching countless YouTube videos, and journaling every day, Tiffany finally found her edge 2 years later.

Tiffany’s background is in psychology. She started her career as a counselor at a children’s hospital. While she remains passionate about children and mental health, trading gives her the flexibility to still be a full-time mom.

Tiffany has been married for 16 years. In her spare time, she loves being with her family, yoga, hiking, camping, fishing, and watching her children compete.

After 26 years of uninterrupted work in Mexican companies, Abiel took a break to explore new ideas and opportunities, grow a family business, and learn about financial markets and how to make a living off of them. In 2017, with no experience in trading or investing, and after concluding that day trading was too difficult and risky to learn, he found Andrew´s first book and decided to give it a try. Abiel joined BBT in December 2017, started sim in February 2018 and has now gone live since July 2018.

Abiel finds refreshment in exercising; running; going outdoors in his off-road vehicle with his wife, family and friends; and traveling throughout Mexico to discover new and amazing places.

Jarad is a software engineer who has worked on GIS technologies for the past 7 years for a well-known defense contracting company. After reading How To Day Trade for a Living in late 2018, he began the journey of developing his trading skills through day trading, swing trading, and then options trading. He joined Bear Bull Traders, knowing that his desire for learning the markets and sharing his experiences would provide valuable content to others who share this passion.

Hoping to become increasingly proficient in options, Jarad provides traders a fresh perspective on using new strategies to handle any market situation. During the hours not spent staring at a computer screen, he enjoys cooking Cajun cuisine, playing with his 2 chinchillas, and spending time with his girlfriend (and soon to be fiancée) of 5-plus years.

John retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army after 21 years of service. Five years of his career were spent as an instructor at the United States Military Academy, which is where he developed a passion for educating others. While in the Army, he also became fascinated with day trading and began to consume any information he could find on the topic. However, on his own he was unable to turn that knowledge into consistent trading profits. The turning points in his trading career were reading Andrew’s book, How to Day Trade for a Living, and then joining the Bear Bull Traders community upon his military retirement. With the education provided by the BBT moderators, months of simulated trading, and months of small risk trading, John was able to find consistent profitability within his first year.

John has been married for 20 years and is the father of 2 teenage boys. In his spare time he enjoys playing mediocre guitar, mountain biking, and watching his sons play hockey.

Aiman is first and foremost a medical student. He personally knew nothing about the stock market until he found himself becoming interested in the crypto market. It took a few months, but after realizing that the crypto market wasn’t for him, he shifted toward the stock market.
