Here is What Burning Man Taught Me!

Hello traders,

Happy burn day! I am in full Burning Man mode right now and all settled into my camp. I even met one of our traders, Sagyn, here! I met Sagyn just recently in New York and now we are at Burning Man together! I guess it is true what they say, traders who trade together, burn together!

Burning Man concept is about “why not”. People come to a harsh environment in a desert and build a city, party and share and gift to each other, and then clean the city like it never happened and give it back to nature.

When people ask why we do this, we say: “Why not?” We can. And we will.

This year, we came and built a disco tent, complete with a bar and lounge system, right in the heart of Nevada. The decorations and top-notch sound system were all sourced from Canada. For five days, we will host parties, spreading joy to the playa, and we will dismantle it and clean up our creation at the end of the week, as if it never existed. Leave no trace.

A culture of “why not” has helped me a lot in my life. Why not climb Everest? Why not start a business? Why not travel the world? Why not make money? Why not start a second business? Why not run in the Sahara desert? Why not start trading?

I always live by the principle that life is too short not to be doing something that serves your soul. Life is too short not to take a leap and do what you love. Trading allowed me to live my life outside of the boundaries society made for me. I hope it can do the same for you as well. And I hope if you are on the fence about something, and not sure whether or not you should do something, ask yourself “Why Not?” and just do it!
