Happy Inflation Day! Market Recap

Good day! It’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation report day! This morning, we executed several amazing reversals on AMD, BABA, and TQQQ in the chatroom with Brian. We are certainly in a volatile kangaroo market at the moment. Up 3%, down 4%, and repeat. As I am writing this newsletter, the market is down around 1.5%. You can check out our Trading Terminal here in order to easily monitor the market in real time (I note it’s still a prototype version).
Today’s meeting between the foreign ministers of Russia and Ukraine in Turkey, the most senior officials to hold in-person talks thus far, made little apparent progress. According to Ukraine’s foreign minister, Russia indicated it will continue its attacks until its goals are met. The House of Representatives approved legislation barring U.S. imports of Russian oil and passed a $13.6 billion emergency aid package for Ukraine and other Eastern European countries, while the Biden administration is considering imposing sanctions on Russia’s state-owned atomic energy company.
Thursday is for mentorship at Bear Bull Traders. As usual, John, Ed, and Thor will be hosting their respective mentorship sessions today.
