Are Meme Stocks Back?
Dear Traders,
I’m writing this to you from the airport, beginning my journey to Morocco to run in one of the hardest races I’ve ever been a part of. The Marathon des Sables (https://twitter.com/marathonDsables), or MdS, is a six day, 251km (156 mile) ultramarathon, approximately the distance of six regular marathons. This race is held every year in the Sahara Desert region of southern Morocco. It is regarded as the toughest foot race on earth. Wish me luck! I hope I can return home from it alive!
Today was another amazing day in the chat, with TSLA and AMC in our sights. Elon Musk released some news before the opening bell and Tesla then made a very strong Opening Range Breakout, with a nearly 50 point move in the first 45 minutes after the market opened. In addition, the meme stocks started coming back into play, with many of us trading breakouts on AMC. Check out our recap here. While you’re at it, please also take a look here at Carlos’ recap. He provides some excellent advice about how to improve your day trading, using his BABA trade from today as an example.
Tonight, for Wednesday Psychology, Mike will be discussing how to handle the pressure involved in trading. This is viewed by many as one of the biggest hurdles to overcome on the road to becoming consistently profitable. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it, but I hope you’ll join Mike at 8pm ET in the webinar room. This webinar is open only to Elite members. Nevertheless, we are still offering 50% off of an Elite annual membership. If you would like to be part of Bear Bull Traders and benefit from these educational opportunities, you can read the details of our promotion here.
Tomorrow, for Thursday Mentorship, John will be sitting in for me at 11am ET. I encourage you to take advantage of his trading knowledge and expertise during this special session. Ed will be holding his mentorship session at 4:30pm ET (with 30 minutes of after-hours trading commencing at 4pm ET) and Thor will be leading his usual mentorship session at 8pm ET. To your success!
